Biography

Lara Mann (b. 1989, Chicago, IL) is a mixed media artist based in Boulder, Colorado. Mann earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011 before beginning her career in the contemporary art world. She has worked with galleries, art fairs, and public arts organizations, experiences that continue to inform both her studio practice and engagement with the broader creative community.

Her recent body of work explores fragmented memories and inner visions to understand how obsessive attention can become a pathway to healing and contemplation.

Mann's work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including exhibitions at Coconino Center for the Arts in Arizona, The Strathmore in Maryland, and most recently The New Local in Colorado. She currently lives and maintains a studio practice in Boulder, Colorado.
